As an international yoga teacher, I’ve taught in five countries and two languages. I’ve traveled to 31 countries and can’t wait to see more of this big beautiful world. I’m a content writer at Verblio and a fitness coach at Orangetheory.
I started this site in 2015 to share my love of fitness and yoga. I played sports as a kid, became a fitness instructor (American Council on Exercise) in college and then a yoga teacher (500 hours, Akhanda Yoga RYS) shortly thereafter. I’ve written a lot here about a wide range of fitness and wellness-related topics, because I find that there are so many things I love to do, and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to focus on for you.
Slowly but surely, I’m defining that focus. You’ll be seeing more personal stories from me, more yoga working in my life, and more yoga on the mat, too.
I want people to discover the joy of movement, however that shows up for them. For me, it’s in yoga, running, group fitness classes, sports, hiking, and horseback riding. I don’t think there’s any reason to chase the best body, because you’ve already got it. Finding out what it is your body needs to be at its best (which is different from anyone else’s best) is an exciting journey, and I hope I can share some of what I’ve learned along mine to help you along yours.
