In years past, I’ve created lists of fitness gift recommendations, based on products I’ve known and loved or really wanted to try. This year, I decided to do things a little differently.
I have a lot of friends and acquaintances who have great stuff to offer! Coaching programs, handmade items, and great products from their own businesses, network marketing businesses, or affiliate programs. I like to shop with my friends whenever possible, but I can’t buy it all! However, I can share what they do with you, so you can get it if you need it and/or want it for yourself or someone else this holiday season.
I shared this on my Instagram stories a few weeks ago, and here at last is the promised blog post where I bring it all together for your shopping reference.
My Colorful Food Journal
I worked with Tiffany at F45 Summerlin. She’s an incredible trainer and human being, and she has a special passion for nutrition. She does nutritional coaching, and she wrote this book to help people eat well.
Gym Law Discount and Personal Training
Kendra is another F45 pal. She recently started offering personal training (she’s located in Las Vegas), and she has a discount code for Gym Law fitness apparel. KAY10 for 10% off your order.

InknBurn Ambassador
Chris was a member at the OTF where I worked in Las Vegas, and he and his wife Stacey are incredible people. They’re also InknBurn ambassadors, and they can hook you up with super-fun workout clothing.
Follow Chris (and reach out to him about InknBurn!)
Custom Ribbon and Labels
Seanie worked out (often half-heartedly and hilariously) at F45 when I coached there, and I loved getting to spend time with her outside the studio at various parties and events. She started her company, Label Me Mine, this year, and she makes creative custom ribbons, labels, and more, with fun seasonal collections.
Detox Foot Pads and Tinctures
I met Rebecca when we both lived in Panama. She’s had her own company, Purify Your Body, for many years, selling detox foot pads, tinctures, and a few other wellness products. She runs great sales, and I always buy my foot pads in bulk because they keep! I’ve been using them almost as long as I’ve known her (what, that’s…six or seven years now?).

Suncatchers and Home Decor
Ross is my boyfriend’s mother’s boyfriend’s son, if you follow, and he started making these beautiful suncatcher mandalas. They’re available on his Etsy shop. They’re affordable and unique, one of those things that makes a great present for someone when you’re really not sure what to get them.
Usborne Books
I met Joanne and her husband at F45 (both great athletes and people!), and they left Vegas shortly before I did. She’s an Usborne Books consultant. Books are one of my favorite gifts to give and receive, and there are so many great titles for kids.

Clean Crafted Wine
I’ve only met Ashley once, but here’s the connection: my high-school/early college boyfriend was/is friends with her now husband, Cleve. Cleve and I chatted quite a lot, having my then-boyfriend in common, but we never met….until he and his now-wife Ashley were traveling the world, and they were happening through Colombia, where I was living at the time, a solid 15 years after I first met Cleve virtually.
I saw they were there and suggested we meet up. My boyfriend wasn’t thrilled about it. (“Who are these people?”) And come to find out halfway through dinner, Ashley hadn’t been thrilled, either, when she admitted to having a great time and being glad we were all there. We had such a great evening! It’s still the only time I’ve met them in real life, but I love knowing Ashley and Cleve are out there.
And you can buy your Scout & Cellar clean-crafted wine from her.

Original Crystal Artwork
I met Tasha through a mutual friend in Las Vegas, and she was my real estate agent when I briefly was looking for a home there. She’s an incredible human, and she makes these meaningful works of art on the side.

Fitness Business Coaching
Riley was my boss at F45, and she is a long-time coach and consultant. She’s currently working specifically with female fitness entrepreneurs, offering business boot camps via Rebel Boss.

Supplements from Insane Labz
I met Amy and her husband in Colorado when I lived there in 2007-2010. They’re both chiropractors, and they’re also ambassadors with Insane Labz. Her discount code LIFE50 was once good for 50% off your order….I think it might now be for 40% off. I’m not sure; give it a try and see. Either way, that’s a big savings.

Custom Shirts
I went to high school with Eugene, the talented tailor behind Smasher Robot. His shirts are precise in terms of pattern matching, and he uses incredibly unique fabrics. If you want a high-quality custom shirt for any occasion, this is the place to go. I need to put an order in for a dress!
Oracle Decks
I also went to high school with Kara, an extremely compassionate, intuitive, and creative human who collaborated with artist Amy Putney Koenig to create this Prairie Majesty Oracle Deck. It will launch on Kickstarter on November 20.
Original Artwork
Michelle and I attended an advanced yoga teacher training in India together in 2016. She’s based in Australia, and she’s does amazing artwork, some of it yoga-related.
Life and Business Coaching
I met Melanie in Colombia, and I ended up working for her as Senior Editor for her digital magazine. She eventually closed it down as she focused on her growing family, but she’s back now with personalized coaching. She’s an incredible business woman and in-tune human being, and if you’re looking for this kind of coaching, she would be a phenomenal choice.
Online Yoga Classes
My college friend Jill is hilarious and talented, and she’s a great yoga teacher (Room to BE Yoga). Her classes are accessible for all body types and abilities, and she’s a thoughtful, compassionate teacher. Her classes are pay-as-you-can.
CBD Products
Nicole was my 6th grade teacher! I went to a one-room country school for all my middle schools years, and that final year it was just my brother, my sister, me, and our beloved teacher in her first year of teaching. It’s been fun to keep in touch with her all these years, and now she’s doing great with the CBD business.
Personal Development Book, Women’s Circle, and Coaching
Sierra is the author of Date Yourself, and she’s a great coach and inspirational leader. She facilitates regular virtual women’s circles, as well. I met her in Colombia and taught yoga at her studio.

Pet Accessories
I worked briefly with Kat at a yoga studio called XENXEN in Vegas. She started Doughtique and sews these bandanas (and matching human headbands!) herself.
Pod-Based Nutritional Blends
My college friend Joie virtually introduced me to his friend Rachel when she moved from New York to Las Vegas. We didn’t meet in person until accidentally at a Carbon38 event held at F45 Summerlin. She’s a vibrant dancer, pilates instructor, and ambassador for Vejo, a pod-based blender with a variety of nutritional blends.
New customers use code RBC8PACK for eight free blends on top of your starter blender kit purchase.

Nutrition Plans and Coaching (with a Discount on Ned)
My high school friend and track teammate Mike started Fueled4Wellness with his wife and a business partner. They do nutritional coaching to help people develop a lifestyle of wellness—not just go on another diet. They’ve also got a discount code for Ned CBD oil/products. Use their code F4W15 for 15% off your order.

Make-up
Michelle was a member at F45 when I was coaching there, and she was a news anchor in Las Vegas before moving to Arizona. You can get Maskcara beauty products from her, and her Instagram is full of make-up tutorials, dance videos, her adorable kids, and loads of inspiration.
Online Music Lessons
I met Emily when we worked together at the Black Hills Playhouse. She’s an amazing artist and musician, and she teamed up with her equally talented sister, Jenny, and Jenny’s husband, Brian, to create Maestro Tales, which offers kids an introduction to classical music. They have an online subscription program.
Thanks for Supporting Small Businesses and Side Gigs
I hope these gift recommendations help you with your holiday shopping! Thank you for supporting my friends with your purchase. I hope you look to your own circle this holiday season, as well, and shop amongst them first. We all know so many people with side gigs and small businesses or money-making projects—you might even have one yourself—and shopping with them gives you access to something great, and it helps them, too.
To my friends: I know this list isn’t complete—I know so many people doing amazing things! I didn’t mean to miss anyone I love; these are the people and businesses I see or interact with the most, so they’re the freshest in my mind. Reach out if you have something incredible to offer! I’d love to add you to this list, and I may update this regularly as more things come to my attention.
